- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 (16 oz) cans refried beans
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese (divided)
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or chorizo
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, diced green chiles, and taco seasoning until well combined. Use a hand mixer for extra smoothness.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded Mexican blend cheese over the top. Add optional toppings like jalapeños or ground beef for more flavor.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese on top. Return to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts perfectly.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips, pita chips, or crunchy veggies.
