- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
- Mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ginger in a bowl.
- Whisk egg, granulated sugar, oil, sour cream, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until nearly combined.
- Fold in three-quarters of the apple mixture.
- Transfer batter to loaf pan.
- Top with remaining apple mixture.
- Bake 50 to 55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 200°F.
- Cool in pan for at least 30 minutes.
- Whisk powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled bread and serve.
