- 1 package (3 ounce) cook-and-serve vanilla pudding mix
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 can (29 ounce) sliced peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons reserved peach syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate.
- Whisk flour, pudding mix, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
- Add milk, butter, and egg, then beat for 2 minutes until smooth.
- Spread crust mixture into prepared pie plate.
- Drain peaches and reserve 3 tablespoons syrup.
- Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy, then add ½ cup sugar and reserved syrup.
- Beat cream cheese mixture for 2 minutes until smooth.
- Arrange peaches over crust mixture evenly.
- Spoon cream cheese mixture over peaches while leaving a 1-inch edge.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use cook-and-serve pudding mix instead of instant pudding.
- Chill the pie before slicing for cleaner servings.
- Fresh peaches may replace canned peaches if desired.
- Cover crust edges with foil if browning too quickly.
