Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut cold butter into the flour mixture until coarse crumbs form.
- Whisk together heavy cream and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently until dough forms.
- Fold diced peaches carefully into the dough.
- Shape dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut into 8 wedges.
- Freeze scones for 15 to 20 minutes while oven finishes preheating.
- Brush tops with remaining heavy cream.
- Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whisk confectioners’ sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled scones before serving.
