Description

Juicy baked peaches filled with a brown sugar cinnamon pecan streusel and served warm with vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 2 large or 3 medium ripe-firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 23 tablespoons chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons chilled butter, diced
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a baking dish.
  2. Halve peaches, remove pits, and scoop a small cavity in each peach center.
  3. Combine flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, salt, pecans, and oats.
  4. Rub chilled butter into the mixture until crumbly.
  5. Divide streusel among peaches and pack lightly into cavities.
  6. Arrange peaches cut-side up in baking dish.
  7. Bake 35 to 45 minutes until peaches are tender and topping is golden.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  1. Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
  2. Toast pecans for deeper flavor.
  3. Air fryer method: cook at 350°F for 5 to 15 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately for best results.
