Description
Baked ravioli casserole made with marinara sauce, fresh ravioli, and gooey mozzarella cheese. A quick 30 minute Italian comfort dinner using only a few ingredients.
Ingredients

- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 18 oz fresh ravioli
- 2 cups shredded fresh mozzarella cheese
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 casserole dish with nonstick spray
- Spread 1/4 cup marinara sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish
- Lay ravioli in a single layer over the sauce without overlapping
- Spoon marinara sauce over the ravioli until covered
- Add any remaining ravioli on top and cover with more sauce
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly across the top
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese melts and sauce bubbles
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
- Reheat in the microwave in 30 to 45 second intervals or in the oven until warmed through
- Freeze leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 months
- Use refrigerated ravioli for best texture
- Frozen ravioli can be used but requires about 20 extra minutes baking time
- Swap marinara with alfredo sauce if desired
- Add spinach or vegetables between layers for variation
