- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar

- 1 head broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 teaspoons ginger minced
- Steamed rice for serving
Instructions
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
- Combine beef with soy sauce, oil, cornstarch, and baking soda.
- Marinate the beef for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together stock, wine, soy sauces, sugar, and cornstarch.
- Steam broccoli in a skillet until crisp tender.
- Remove broccoli and heat oil in the skillet.
- Sear the beef until browned but still juicy.
- Add garlic and ginger and stir briefly.
- Return broccoli to the skillet.
- Pour in the sauce and stir until thickened.
- Serve hot over steamed rice.
