Description

Fudgy vegan chocolate brownie bites made with black beans, cocoa powder, oats, maple syrup, and chocolate chips. Perfect as a snack or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp regular cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats or 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup, honey, or agave
  • 1/4 cup oil, almond butter, or peanut butter
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Add all ingredients except chocolate chips to a food processor.
  3. Process until completely smooth.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Divide batter evenly into the mini muffin pan.
  6. Press extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes on the center rack.
  8. Cool for at least 10 minutes before removing from the pan.

Notes

  1. Blend thoroughly for the smoothest texture.
  2. Do not skip the chocolate chips.
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
