Blooming Quesadilla Ring is a crispy and cheesy shareable appetizer filled with chicken, peppers, and taco sauce, baked into a pull-apart ring perfect for parties and gatherings.

- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 1 jalapeño chopped
- 1 cup taco sauce
- 20 taco size flour tortillas
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl mix shredded chicken onion red bell pepper jalapeño and taco sauce
- Cut each tortilla in half
- Place about two tablespoons each of cheddar cheese Monterey Jack cheese and chicken mixture on each tortilla half
- Roll each tortilla half into a cone starting from the cut edge
- Place a wide mouth jar in the center of the baking sheet and arrange tortilla cones around it
- Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the first layer
- Repeat layering cones and cheese until three layers form
- Remove the jar carefully
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese melts and tortillas become crispy
- Transfer to a platter place dip in the center and serve immediately
Notes
- Do not overfill tortillas so cones stay sealed
- Fresh shredded cheese melts better than packaged cheese
- Serve with salsa guacamole or sour cream for dipping
