- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough sheets
- 2 packages 8-ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon milk or water
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
- Press one sheet of crescent dough evenly into the pan.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
- Spread filling evenly over the dough.
- Top with the second dough sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Bake until golden brown, then cool and drizzle with glaze.
Notes
- Let the danish cool before glazing so the topping sets properly.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days.
