Description

A bright and refreshing non-alcoholic Breakfast Punch made with orange juice concentrate, pineapple juice, ginger ale, ice, and sliced fresh fruit. It comes together in 10 minutes and serves about 10 people.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 12-ounce can orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 cups cold water, plus up to 1 additional cup as needed
  • 6 cups ice
  • 2 large lemons, thinly sliced
  • 2 large tangerines, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 4 cups ginger ale, chilled

Instructions

  1. Add the thawed orange juice concentrate and pineapple juice to a large punch bowl.
  2. Stir until the orange juice concentrate dissolves completely.
  3. Add 3 cups of cold water and stir well.
  4. Taste the juice base and add up to 1 additional cup of water if needed.
  5. Add the ice, sliced lemons, sliced tangerines, and strawberries.
  6. Pour in the chilled ginger ale.
  7. Stir gently two or three times to preserve the carbonation.
  8. Serve immediately and garnish with additional sliced fruit if desired.

Notes

  1. Chill all liquids before mixing so the ice melts slowly.
  2. Add the ginger ale immediately before serving for the strongest carbonation.
  3. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  4. Add fresh ginger ale to leftover punch before serving again.
  5. For make-ahead preparation, refrigerate the juice base and sliced fruit separately overnight.
  6. Add the fruit, ice, and ginger ale just before serving.
