Description

A rich and creamy brownie batter dip that tastes just like classic brownie batter, made safe to eat and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, heat-treated
  • 1/3 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Beat softened butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  2. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, brown sugar, flour, milk, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Mix until smooth and creamy, scraping the bowl as needed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl, top with mini chocolate chips, and serve with dippers.

Notes

  1. Heat-treat flour before using to make it safe to eat.
  2. Dutch-process cocoa gives the darkest color, but regular cocoa works.
  3. Serve with fruit, pretzels, graham crackers, or cookies.
