Description

Soft Buffalo Chicken Sliders filled with juicy shredded chicken, spicy Buffalo sauce, creamy ranch, and melted cheese, then finished with savory garlic butter and baked until golden.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella, cheddar, or blended cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, for topping
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9-by-9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Slice the connected slider buns horizontally, keeping the top and bottom sections intact.
  4. Place the bottom section of buns in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken.
  7. Place the top section of buns over the cheese.
  8. Combine the melted butter, remaining garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
  9. Brush the seasoned butter evenly over the tops of the buns.
  10. Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the buns look lightly golden and the cheese has melted.
  12. Rest the sliders for 3 minutes, cut along the bun lines, and serve hot.

Notes

  1. Use cooked rotisserie chicken or leftover roasted chicken for faster preparation.
  2. Keep the slider buns connected while assembling the sandwiches.
  3. Use mozzarella for a stretchy melt, cheddar for sharper flavor, or a blend of both.
  4. Reduce the Buffalo sauce to 1/3 cup and add another tablespoon of ranch for milder sliders.
  5. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  6. Reheat refrigerated sliders in a 325°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
