- 1 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella, cheddar, or blended cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, for topping
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9-by-9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Combine the shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Slice the connected slider buns horizontally, keeping the top and bottom sections intact.
- Place the bottom section of buns in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken.
- Place the top section of buns over the cheese.
- Combine the melted butter, remaining garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Brush the seasoned butter evenly over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the buns look lightly golden and the cheese has melted.
- Rest the sliders for 3 minutes, cut along the bun lines, and serve hot.
Notes
- Use cooked rotisserie chicken or leftover roasted chicken for faster preparation.
- Keep the slider buns connected while assembling the sandwiches.
- Use mozzarella for a stretchy melt, cheddar for sharper flavor, or a blend of both.
