This one-pan Butter Parmesan Pasta is creamy, rich, and ready in just 20 minutes. Made with ditalini pasta, garlic, butter, cream, and parmesan, it’s a comforting dinner the whole family enjoys.

- 1 1/2 cups dry ditalini pasta
- 2 1/2 to 3 cups chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 3 to 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, optional
- Red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add ditalini pasta and stir to coat with garlic oil.
- Pour in chicken broth, season with salt and pepper, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 9 to 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for 1 minute over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and parmesan until melted.
- Adjust seasoning, garnish if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
- Add cooked chicken or shrimp at the end if desired.
- Reheat leftovers with a splash of broth or cream.
