- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Peel, rinse, and slice sweet potatoes into 1/2 to 1 inch rounds.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and arrange potatoes evenly.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in sugars, spices, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour glaze over sweet potatoes and cover with foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, stir gently, increase heat to 425°F.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until tender and glazed.
