Ingredients

2 apples, peeled and finely chopped

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch of salt

1 tbsp unsalted butter

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

8 pieces caramel candy

2 tbsp butter, melted

cinnamon sugar (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet, add apples, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook 5 minutes until tender.

3. Flatten biscuits and fill each with apple mixture and one caramel candy.

4. Seal edges and roll into balls.

5. Place seam side down in the baking dish. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar.

6. Bake 30–35 minutes until golden brown.

7. Serve warm with ice cream or caramel sauce.
