- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in sliced bananas gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While still warm, drizzle caramel sauce generously over the cake. Let it soak in for extra gooeyness.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
