Description

Cheesy Pizza Pockets are baked handheld pizza parcels filled with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni for an easy family-friendly meal or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
  • 6 tablespoons marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • Olive oil (optional)
  • Dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Unroll pizza dough and cut into 6 equal squares
  3. Add sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni to one half of each square
  4. Fold dough diagonally and seal edges with a fork
  5. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle oregano if desired
  6. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes until golden brown and bubbly

Notes

  1. Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving
