Description
A warm and satisfying one-pan dinner featuring tender potatoes, smoky sausage, ranch seasoning, and melted cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
1 pound smoked sausage (halal-certified)
4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash and cut potatoes into halves or quarters.
3. Slice smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds.
4. Mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
5. Coat potatoes with olive oil and half the seasoning.
6. Spread potatoes on a baking sheet.
7. Add sliced smoked sausage on top.
8. Roast for 35–40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
9. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
10. Bake 5 minutes until melted.
11. Garnish with parsley and serve with sour cream.
Notes
Feel free to use a cheese blend for extra flavor.
You can prep the potatoes earlier in the day for faster assembly.
