Description

Crispy potatoes topped with taco seasoned beef, melted cheese, and classic taco toppings for a comforting skillet-style dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 34 tablespoons oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Water as directed on packet
  • 8 ounces Mexican shredded cheese
  • Optional toppings: pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Toss diced potatoes with oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Air fry potatoes at 400°F for 18–20 minutes, shaking basket several times.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess grease.
  4. Add taco seasoning and water to beef and simmer until thick.
  5. Layer cooked potatoes with seasoned beef and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Add desired toppings and serve hot.
