Description
A creamy, no-bake dessert that combines a buttery graham cracker crust, a smooth cream cheese filling, and a sweet cherry topping. Perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped cream (or whipped topping)
- 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until evenly moistened. Press the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish, forming an even layer. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
- Make the filling: Beat the cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add vanilla extract and blend well. Gently fold in the whipped cream to create a light and fluffy mixture.
- Layer the filling: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Return to the fridge and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight for best results.
- Add the topping: Spread the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, ensuring it covers the dessert evenly.
- Final chill and serve: Chill for an additional hour before serving. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
