Description

Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese is a creamy, rich comfort dish made with tender elbow macaroni and a smooth blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cheeses until melted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Combine macaroni with cheese sauce until coated.
  8. Optional: Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly.
