Description
Soft, buttery rolls stuffed with tender chicken, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and creamy ranch dressing. Perfect for parties, family dinners, or a cozy snack. These rolls are an irresistible treat everyone will adore!
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 soft dinner rolls (e.g., Hawaiian or potato rolls)
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 1 cup crispy bacon, crumbled
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or a mix of mozzarella and cheddar)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Slice the dinner rolls horizontally, keeping the bottom layer intact. Place the bottom layer of rolls into the prepared baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, and ranch dressing. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Spoon the chicken mixture evenly onto the bottom layer of the rolls, filling each section generously. Place the top layer of rolls back over the filling.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm, and watch them disappear!
Notes
- Avoid Overfilling the Rolls: While tempting to pack in all the filling, overstuffed rolls can spill during baking. Ensure an even balance to keep them neat and easy to pull apart.
- Crispy Bacon is Key: Make sure your bacon is cooked to a crisp texture before crumbling. This adds a satisfying crunch and balances the creamy ranch and melty cheese.
- Serve Fresh and Warm: For the best taste and texture, serve the rolls straight from the oven. The gooey cheese and buttery crust are at their peak when freshly baked!
