- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken 5 to 6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Rest the chicken before slicing.
- Cook egg noodles until al dente and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Drain noodles.
- Melt butter in the same skillet.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat.
- Use reserved pasta water if needed.
- Return sliced chicken to the skillet.
- Mix until heated through.
- Garnish with parsley, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes before serving.
