Description

Creamy chicken and cheese wrapped in flaky crescent dough, baked until golden and perfect for meals or appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans 8-ounce crescent rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican or cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, chicken, green onions, and spices in a large bowl.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and divide into four rectangles per can.
  4. Flatten seams and add chicken mixture to the center of each rectangle.
  5. Fold corners together and pinch closed.
  6. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  1. Boiled or instant pot chicken works well for this recipe.
  2. Avoid overfilling the dough to prevent opening during baking.
