Description
Crispy cinnamon-sugar crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and buttery layers make this churro cheesecake recipe the easiest Mexican-inspired dessert you’ll ever bake.
Ingredients
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
½ cup granulated sugar
2 (8-oz) cans crescent roll dough
16 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1½ tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan. Sprinkle 1–2 tbsp cinnamon sugar on bottom.
2. Unroll one crescent dough tube and press seams together; lay in pan.
3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over crust.
4. Unroll second dough tube, seal seams, and layer over filling.
5. Pour melted butter on top and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar.
6. Bake 26–30 min until golden brown. Cool, chill 3 hours, then slice and serve.
Notes
Optional toppings: dulce de leche, chocolate sauce, honey, vanilla ice cream, or fresh strawberries.
