Flaky cinnamon sugar cruffins made with crescent roll dough, buttery layers, and a classic sweet filling, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

- 2 cans crescent roll dough or croissant dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 to 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour, for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Roll out both dough sheets on a floured surface and press perforations closed.
- Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Brush melted butter over one dough sheet and sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar.
- Place the second dough sheet on top and cut into long strips.
- Roll each strip into a spiral, dip in remaining butter and sugar, and place in muffin tin.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Crescent roll dough and croissant dough work equally well.
- Puff pastry can be used for a flakier texture.
- Best served warm.
