Description
Crack Burgers are the ultimate crave-worthy burger experience—juicy beef patties layered with creamy, cheesy crack sauce and melted cheddar, all tucked inside buttery toasted brioche buns. With every bite, you get a burst of savory, tangy, and indulgent flavor that explains why they’re called “crack” burgers—they’re that addictive!
Ingredients
For the Patties:
500g ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
For the Crack Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional: 1 tsp hot sauce or chili flakes
Other Ingredients:
4 brioche buns
4 slices of cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: crispy bacon, pickles, lettuce, caramelized onions
Instructions
1. Form the Patties:
In a bowl, season ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Gently shape into 4 patties. Do not overwork.
2. Make the Crack Sauce:
Mix mayo, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheddar in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Add hot sauce for heat if desired.
3. Cook the Patties:
Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side. Top each with cheddar slice near the end of cooking to melt.
4. Toast the Buns:
Lightly butter and toast brioche buns in a pan or on the grill until golden.
5. Assemble the Burgers:
Spread crack sauce on both buns. Place the cheesy patty on the bottom bun, add toppings (bacon, pickles, lettuce), and finish with the top bun.
Notes
Add caramelized onions for extra flavor depth.
Use ground turkey for a lighter option.
For gluten-free, use GF buns or lettuce wraps.
Do not press down on patties while cooking to retain juices.
Let patties rest 1–2 minutes before serving for the best texture.
