  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 24 pinwheels

Description

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (300 g) shredded cooked chicken
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix

  • Roll It Up: Starting at one end, tightly roll the tortilla into a cylinder. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  • Slice into Pinwheels: Use a sharp knife to slice each rolled tortilla into 1-inch pieces, creating pinwheels.
  • Chill and Serve: Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Prevent Soggy Tortillas: Ensure the chicken and bacon are well-drained before mixing, and avoid overloading the tortillas with the filling to keep them firm and easy to slice.
  • Chilling is Key: Refrigerating the rolled tortillas for at least 30 minutes helps them hold their shape, making slicing cleaner and ensuring the pinwheels stay intact.
  • Customization Options: Add diced jalapeños for spice, green onions for freshness, or swap chicken for veggies to make vegetarian-friendly pinwheels. The recipe is versatile and easy to adapt!
