Description

Rich cream cheese, tangy cranberry sauce, and green onions create a festive appetizer for any holiday gathering.


Ingredients

  • 6 oz fresh cranberries

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 jalapeño (optional)

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • 3 green onions, sliced

  • 1 box crackers

  • 1 apple


Instructions

  • Combine cranberries, sugar, water, salt, and jalapeño in a saucepan.

  • Simmer for 10 minutes until the berries burst.

  • Cool for 10 minutes.

  • Spread cream cheese on a platter.

  • Spoon cranberry mixture on top.

  • Garnish with green onions.

  • Serve with crackers and apple slices.
