100 g (½ cup) light brown sugar, packed
-
50 g (¼ cup) granulated sugar
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
340 g (12 oz) toffee bits (such as Heath Bits O’ Brickle)
-
4 medium apples, sliced (approx. 500 g / 1 lb), for serving
Instructions
-
In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
-
Mix in brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon until fully combined.
-
Stir in vanilla extract.
-
Fold in toffee bits, reserving a small handful for garnish.
-
Transfer dip to a serving bowl, top with reserved toffee bits, and surround with apple slices.
-
Serve immediately, or refrigerate 15–20 minutes for a firmer dip.
Notes
Prevent apple browning by soaking slices in lemon water (1 tbsp lemon juice + 1 cup cold water).
Great dippers include graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or pear slices.
For a lighter version, substitute part of the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
For extra indulgence, drizzle caramel sauce before adding toffee bits.
Can be made up to 24 hours ahead—just garnish before serving.
