Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz / 226g each) crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz / 226g each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
  • Layer the bottom crust: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, pinching any seams together.
  • Make the filling: In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the filling evenly over the crescent dough layer.
  • Top with second dough layer: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the filling, sealing the edges.
  • Brush with melted butter, ensuring the top layer is fully coated.
  • Mix the topping: Combine 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the buttered crust.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crisp.
  • Cool for 15 minutes, then slice into bars and serve warm or refrigerate for a firmer texture.
