- 4 thick-cut pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms or diced onions (optional)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pork Chops:
- Season both sides of the pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- (Optional) Heat a skillet with a little oil and brown each side of the pork chops for 2-3 minutes for extra flavor.
- Assemble in the Crock Pot:
- Place pork chops in a single layer at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add mushrooms or onions, if using, on top of the chops.
- In a bowl, mix the cream soup, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour over the pork chops.
- Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- To thicken the gravy, stir in the cornstarch mixture during the last 30 minutes of cooking and leave the lid slightly open.
- Serve:
- Plate the pork chops and pour the rich, creamy gravy over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
