Description

Crunchwrap Supreme is a crispy skillet-toasted tortilla wrap filled with seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, crunchy tostada shell, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and melted cheeses.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground paprika
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  2. Transfer beef to a bowl and remove excess fat from skillet.
  3. Cut 4 small tortilla rounds by tracing around a tostada shell placed on stacked tortillas.
  4. Place beef in the center of 4 large tortillas and drizzle with nacho cheese sauce.
  5. Add a tostada shell, then spread sour cream on top.
  6. Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cheddar, and Monterey Jack.
  7. Place the small tortilla round on top and fold the large tortilla edges inward to seal.
  8. Heat oil in a skillet and place Crunchwrap seam side down.
  9. Cook about 3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Do not overfill the tortilla to prevent tearing.
  2. Warm tortillas slightly before folding so they bend easily.
  3. Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
  4. Wrap individually in foil to freeze for up to one month.
