Description

Deviled strawberries filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture, perfect as a dessert or party finger food.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1824 large strawberries
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Prep the strawberries by cutting off the stems and slicing them in half. Trim backs so they sit flat and hollow a small indent.
  2. Beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pipe the mixture onto each strawberry half.
  6. Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs and serve.

Notes

  1. Use a low carb sweetener and omit graham crackers for a low-carb version.
  2. Berry size affects yield; adjust based on strawberry size.
  3. Filling can be made a day ahead and stored airtight.
  4. Prep strawberries the day before and store with a paper towel to avoid sogginess.
