Description

This creamy, citrusy no-bake cheesecake is a refreshing dessert that brings back the nostalgic flavors of an orange creamsicle. With its smooth texture and zesty orange twist, it’s a perfect treat for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups (180g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tbsp (85g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp (25g) sugar

For the Filling:

  • 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp (12g) orange zest
  • ½ cup (120ml) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) heavy whipping cream

For Garnish:

  • Whipped cream
  • Extra orange zest
  • Fresh orange slices (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  • Press the mixture evenly into a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.

2. Make the Filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Add orange zest, orange juice concentrate, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.

3. Assemble the Cheesecake:

  • Pour the filling over the chilled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until firm.

4. Garnish and Serve:

  • Top with whipped cream, extra orange zest, and fresh orange slices.
  • Slice, serve, and enjoy the creamy, citrusy goodness!

Notes

1️⃣ Use Room Temperature Cream Cheese – This ensures a smooth and creamy texture without lumps. Cold cream cheese won’t blend well, leading to a grainy filling.

2️⃣ Fold Gently, Don’t Overmix – When incorporating whipped cream into the filling, fold it in carefully to keep the mixture light and airy. Overmixing can make the cheesecake dense instead of fluffy.

3️⃣ Chill for Best Results – Let the cheesecake set for at least 4 hours, but overnight is ideal. This helps the flavors meld and gives the cheesecake the perfect firm yet creamy texture.
