Description
Lemonade Chicken Crock Pot is a zesty, sweet-and-savory dish where tender chicken simmers in tangy lemonade concentrate, Dijon mustard, and spices. Easy to make and full of flavor, it’s a refreshing twist on traditional slow cooker meals.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for juicier results)
1/2 cup (120 ml) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Optional: fresh lemon slices for layering
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken: Coat the chicken evenly with Dijon mustard.
Season: Mix garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning over the chicken.
Arrange in Crock Pot: Place the chicken in a single layer at the bottom of the crock pot.
Add Lemonade: Pour the lemonade concentrate over the chicken. Add lemon slices on top for extra flavor, if desired.
Cook:
On high for 2–3 hours
Or on low for 3–4 hours
Cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serve: Spoon juices over the chicken when plating. Serve whole or shred for wraps, tacos, or salads.
Notes
Use sugar-free lemonade concentrate for a low-carb option.
For a thicker sauce, stir in 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Can be baked instead: 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes in a baking dish.
Leftovers are great in wraps, pasta, or salads.
