Description

A festive Firecracker Cake with red, white, and blue layers baked into a soft bundt cake and topped with colorful frosting drizzle.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box white cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • Water, vegetable oil, and egg whites as required
  • Red food coloring
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1 container white frosting (12 oz)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and grease bundt pan.
  2. Prepare cake batter according to package.
  3. Divide batter and color portions red and blue.
  4. Layer red, white, and blue batter in pan without mixing.
  5. Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool cake and remove from pan.
  7. Divide frosting and color portions.
  8. Drizzle frosting over cake in layers.
  9. Add sprinkles and let set before serving.

Notes

  1. Use gel food coloring for brighter colors.
  2. Do not mix batter layers in pan.
  3. Store covered at room temperature.
