Description

Cheesy, gooey, and golden-brown perfection! These bite-sized mozzarella biscuit bombs are the ultimate comfort snack, perfect for dipping into marinara sauce or enjoying on their own. Simple, quick, and utterly satisfying!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 8 small mozzarella cubes (or shredded mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Optional: pepperoni slices, spinach, or bacon bits

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Dough: Flatten each biscuit into a small circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  • Stuff with Cheese: Place a mozzarella cube in the center of each circle. Add optional fillings like pepperoni or spinach for extra flavor.
  • Seal the Bombs: Fold the dough around the cheese, pinching the edges to seal tightly. Roll into a smooth ball shape.
  • Assemble on a Tray: Arrange the bombs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  • Brush with Butter: Mix melted butter with garlic powder, oregano, and basil. Generously brush over each bomb.
  • Bake to Perfection: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Keep an eye to prevent overbaking.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the bombs to cool for a minute or two before serving. Pair with marinara sauce or your favorite dip for extra deliciousness!

Notes

  • Seal the Dough Well: Ensure the edges of the dough are tightly pinched around the cheese to prevent it from leaking during baking. A double pinch or a quick roll between your hands can help!
  • Customize the Flavor: Get creative with fillings like pepperoni, spinach, or bacon, and experiment with different cheese varieties (cheddar, gouda, or brie) for unique twists on this classic recipe.
  • Serve Fresh for Best Results: These bombs are best enjoyed hot out of the oven when the cheese is gooey and the biscuits are crispy. If reheating, use an oven instead of a microwave to maintain the texture.
