Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water gradually until dough forms.
- Divide dough into two disks and chill for 30 minutes.
- Mix peaches or apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness and cut circles.
- Place filling in center and fold into half-moon shapes.
- Crimp edges to seal.
- Heat oil over medium heat.
- Fry pies 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
