Description

Frozen Yogurt Bites are easy no-bake freezer snacks made with creamy yogurt, fruit, and optional toppings. They are kid-friendly, refreshing, and perfect for summer snacks, after-school treats, or a light dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt or any thick flavored yogurt
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup small blueberries, halved for toddlers
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips, optional
  • 1 tablespoon colorful sprinkles, optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, optional, only if using plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional, only if using plain yogurt

Instructions

  1. Line a small sheet pan or freezer-safe tray with parchment paper, making sure the tray fits flat in your freezer.
  2. Stir the yogurt until smooth. If using plain Greek yogurt, mix in honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  3. Wash and dry the fruit well, then dice strawberries into tiny pieces and halve blueberries for younger children.
  4. Spoon the yogurt into a piping bag or zip-top sandwich bag, seal it, and snip a small corner.
  5. Pipe small rounds of yogurt onto the parchment-lined tray, leaving a little space between each bite.
  6. Top the yogurt dots with diced fruit, mini chocolate chips, or sprinkles as desired.
  7. Place the tray flat in the freezer and freeze for 2 to 3 hours, or until the bites feel firm.
  8. Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the parchment with your fingers or a thin spatula.
  9. Serve immediately, or transfer the bites to a freezer-safe bag or airtight container for later.

Notes

  1. Make smaller bites for toddlers and always supervise young children while eating.
  2. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest frozen texture.
  3. Dry fruit well before adding it to prevent icy spots.
  4. Let the bites sit at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before serving for a softer melt-in-your-mouth texture.
  5. Store leftovers in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container for up to 1 month.
