Description
Garlic butter beef bites are tender, juicy pieces of beef seared in a hot skillet and coated in a rich, garlicky butter sauce. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or appetizers. These beef bites are packed with flavor, making them irresistible to everyone at the table. With just a few ingredients, this simple recipe comes together in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the beef into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2. Season the beef generously with salt and pepper.
- 3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil or butter. Sear the beef in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and caramelized.
- 4. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.
- 5. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Return the beef to the pan and toss it in the garlic butter sauce until coated evenly.
- 7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes. You can also add a splash of red wine or beef broth after searing the beef to deglaze the pan and enhance the sauce. If you prefer a richer taste, stir in a tablespoon of Dijon mustard into the butter sauce. This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or a light salad.
