- 4 ribeye steaks (8 ounces each)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons butter.
- Add steaks and cook 4 to 5 minutes on one side.
- Flip steaks, add remaining butter and garlic, and cook 4 to 5 minutes more.
- Remove steaks and let rest.
- Lower heat, add cream to skillet, and whisk to loosen browned bits.
- Add Parmesan and whisk until sauce thickens.
- Slice steaks, serve with sauce, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- You can substitute ribeye with sirloin or filet mignon.
- Adjust garlic to taste.
- Serve with vegetables or mashed potatoes.
