Description
Perfectly cheesy, garlicky, and wrapped in warm, fluffy dough—garlic cheese bombs are the ultimate snack or appetizer for any occasion. These bite-sized wonders are quick, easy, and oh-so-delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 can of pizza dough (or biscuit dough)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (cubed or shredded)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Cut into 12-15 equal squares.
- Place a cube (or a small mound) of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese, pinching tightly to seal and form a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley. Brush the tops of the dough balls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle the bombs with grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and brush with any leftover garlic butter for a final touch of flavor.
- Serve warm with marinara or ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
1️⃣ Seal the Dough Properly
Ensure the edges of the dough are tightly sealed around the cheese to prevent it from leaking out during baking. Pinching the seams firmly will help keep the gooey cheese inside.
2️⃣ Brush with Garlic Butter Twice
For maximum flavor, brush the bombs with garlic butter before baking and again immediately after they come out of the oven. This creates a rich, buttery, and garlicky finish.
3️⃣ Serve Fresh and Warm
Garlic cheese bombs are best enjoyed straight from the oven when the cheese is hot and melty. If reheating, use the oven for a crispy exterior rather than a microwave, which may make them soft.
