Description

A savory dish that combines tender chicken with the bold flavors of garlic and Parmesan cheese. It’s simple, versatile, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Brush each piece with olive oil to help the coating stick.
  • Coat the chicken in the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure it adheres well.
  • Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring the pieces are not touching for even cooking.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use Fresh Ingredients: For the best flavor, opt for freshly grated Parmesan cheese and fresh garlic. Pre-packaged alternatives can work but won’t deliver the same depth of flavor.
  • Check Chicken Doneness: Always use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C) to be safe for consumption.
  • Customize the Coating: If you prefer a lighter dish, skip the breadcrumbs and use only Parmesan cheese for the coating. For extra crunch, opt for panko breadcrumbs.
