Description

Garlic Parmesan Crockpot Chicken and Potatoes is a creamy, comforting, and flavorful slow cooker dinner that practically cooks itself. Tender chicken breasts, seasoned baby potatoes, garlic, and Parmesan simmer together for hours, creating a rich, cheesy one-pot meal your whole family will love—with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 680 g)

  • 1.5 lbs (680 g) baby potatoes, halved

  • 1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth

  • ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp (5 g) salt

  • ½ tsp (2 g) black pepper

  • ½ tsp (2 g) red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep: Wash and halve baby potatoes. Mince garlic.

  • Season Chicken: Rub chicken with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  • Assemble in Crockpot: Place potatoes in the bottom, layer chicken on top.

  • Add Liquid & Flavor: Pour in broth. Add garlic and Parmesan over the top.

  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and potatoes are soft.

  • Serve: Spoon sauce over chicken and potatoes. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Optional: Sear chicken first for deeper flavor.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the creamiest texture.

Add veggies like carrots or green beans during the last hour for a complete meal.

Stir in a splash of cream at the end for an even silkier finish.

Store leftovers up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
