Description

A quick garlic ramen stir fry with sweet and spicy flavor made from simple pantry ingredients and ready in about 10 minutes in one pan.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • Everything bagel seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain the ramen noodles according to the package instructions then set aside
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about one minute until fragrant
  4. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar to create the sauce
  5. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and toss until well coated
  6. Push the noodles to one side of the pan and increase heat slightly
  7. Crack the egg into the empty side of the pan and scramble until fully cooked
  8. Mix the scrambled egg into the noodles
  9. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top and serve immediately

Notes

  1. Discard or save the seasoning packet that comes with the ramen for another recipe
  2. Add an extra egg or vegetables like broccoli carrots mushrooms onions or bell peppers to stretch the meal
  3. You can also add leftover chicken or shrimp for extra protein
  4. For a kid friendly version leave out the red pepper flakes
