Description

A fresh and tangy Greek cabbage salad made with olive oil, vinegar, and crisp vegetables, marinated for maximum flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • large white cabbage
  • 1 small tomato
  • ½ green bell pepper
  • 1 small carrot
  • ½ small red onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Finely shred the cabbage and place in a bowl
  2. Grate the carrot and add to the bowl
  3. Slice tomato, bell pepper, and onion thinly and add
  4. Add oregano, salt, and pepper
  5. Drizzle olive oil and vinegar over salad
  6. Mix and massage for 1–2 minutes
  7. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving

  2. Let marinate longer for deeper flavor
