- Wooden skewers soaked in water
Instructions
- Slice the halloumi cheese into 1-inch cubes.
- Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, black pepper, and salt together in a bowl.
- Add halloumi cubes and toss gently to coat. Marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread marinated halloumi cubes onto skewers with small gaps between pieces.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Grill skewers for 2 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove from grill and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
Notes
