Description

Creamy, cheesy Ground Beef and Rice Casserole made with simple pantry ingredients for an easy family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk or beef broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess grease
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft
  4. Stir in rice, soup, milk, seasoning, and half the cheese
  5. Transfer to baking dish and top with remaining cheese
  6. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes until bubbly

Notes

  1. Use sharp cheddar for stronger flavor
  2. Add parsley for garnish if desired
